Last Tuesday night’s game against the University of Sioux Falls was the first home volleyball game in three weeks.
The Raiders fell to USF in four games. Scoring was 20-30, 23-30, 30-25 and 24-30.
Sophomore Maggie Freiborg came out with 18 kills and 7 blocks, junior Carli Blom served 21/22 and contributed 4 aces and senior Kelli Vermeer got up 17 digs.
The Lady Raiders didn’t have much to say after the game, except that they were ready to play like they really can. They said that they haven’t been playing well the past few games and it is time for a change.
Their next game is tomorrow against Dana College in Blair, Neb., at 6:00 and 7:30 p.m.
“I’m looking forward to us coming off of the loss this week and playing up to our potential [against Dana],” said Blom.
Currently, the Lady Raiders are ranked sixth in the GPAC with 4-2 and 14-4 overall.
