Thurm included that Lansink loves getting to know the students, and genuinely cares about each person she interacts with.
Lansink pointed out that another big difference that she notices in the music department from when she was a student until now, is that the students hang out in the music building. “Everyone is working hard to build relationships, not just with other students, but with the faculty and staff as well. I love it!” Lansink said.
Lansink concluded by saying that she is looking forward to Vespers. “I know it’s going to be a lot of work for everyone, but it’s such a special time for the music department. I’m looking forward to being a part of it again.” Lansink said.
