The men’s soccer team gave up two goals early on Wednesday night against Sioux Falls. Despite controlling the rest of the match, Northwestern was only able to score one goal and fell short of a comeback.
The Red Raider’s only goal came from senior Aron Pall on a pass from senior Ben Karnish in the 69th minute. Sophomore Jonathan Taves had four shots on the night, followed by freshman Justin Lehman and sophomores Taylor Herbert and Taylor Biggs, who each had two shots. Senior Jeff Lanser allowed two goals and made three saves. The Raiders dropped to a 2-4-1 overall record, 0-1 in the GPAC.
NW will play at Concordia on Saturday, Sept. 18 at 2:00 p.m.
