kend is going to be a very eventful and exciting time for Red Raider athletics.
This Friday and Saturday, (October 5th and 6th), the Raiders have 13 athletic events competing.
These events should all be very exciting and the student body should contribute by going and cheering on the teams.
This Friday, there are four events that are taking place at home. First up, both Red Raider men’s and women’s tennis teams take to the court.
Our women’s team is taking on the Loras College Hawks at 10:00 a.m. and the men’s team is playing Mount Marty at 2:30 p.m.
The NW volleyball team is playing Doane at the Bultman Center, with junior varsity (JV) at 6:00 p.m. and Varsity to follow at 7:00 p.m.
These events will conclude what is in store for homecoming on Friday.
Then to end this year’s homecoming week, we have nine different events happening both on campus and on the road.
Mens and womens cross-country will be away at Briar Cliff with the women’s race set to begin at 10:00 a.m. with the men to follow at 10:45.
To kick off the home games on Saturday is once again, the woman’s tennis team who will host Mount Marty at 9:00 a.m., with a match against Grandview College at 3:00 p.m.
At 1:30 p.m. the Red Raider football team will playagainst Concordia (NE).
Afterwards, the volleyball team will face Hastings, JV will play at 3:00 p.m. with Varsity to follow at 5:00 p.m.
To end the night, our womens soccer team will play against Hastingsat 5 p.m. with men to follow at 7:30 p.m.
With all of these amazing events taking place this weekend for homecoming, this seems to be a very exciting time filled with amazing games and competition.
