Looking for something to do this weekend? Look no further. On top of the sporting events such as football, basketball, volleyball and cross country, on Saturday, November 9, Jordan Feliz will make an appearance on the campus of to perform along with special guest, Joseph O’Brien.
NWC has had many different bands perform on campus over the past years such as David Crowder, Newsboys, Audio Adrenaline, Skillet, Phil Wickham, Sidewalk Prophets and most recently, Rend Collective. Many students and community members alike join together to praise God with music led by these amazing bands. It is always a crowd favorite, and this year will be no different.
Jordan Feliz will be performing on campus as a part of his “Everything Good” tour. A few of the songs included in the album are “Praise God for That,” “The King is Alive,” “Joyful Noise” and many more. Jordan Feliz says, “When we know who’s in control, who our provider is and where the good comes from. That is when we start seeing anxiety disappear. God has already given us the tools. We just have to be proactive in our relationship with Jesus and put what we know into practice. How we counteract anxiety is what this record is really all about.”
Jordan Feliz is a 35-year-old Christian artist originally from Clovis, California. He is currently living with his wife, Jamie, and their daughter, Jolie, in Nashville, Tennessee. Besides his newest album, some of Jordan’s most well known songs are “The River,” “Jesus is Coming Back” and “Beloved”.
Special guest, Joseph O’Brien, will also be performing at the concert. Some might even recognize him from America’s Got Talent, season 13. He made it to the quarterfinals but was eliminated there. Joseph also went on tour with Jeremy Camp this past September and October. A couple of his more popular songs are “Something Different” and “I Feel Home.”
This concert is open to the public, so anyone is welcome to come. Tickets are going fast, so get one soon. The doors will open at 6:15 pm for anyone with general admission, which are $20. However, for those who wish to get in earlier, there are Early Entry tickets for 6:00 pm, which are $30. There are also VIP tickets for $65, which includes not only a 5:15 pm. entry, but also a “Meet and Greet” with Jordan Feliz himself. The concert will start at 7:00 pm.
While all the spots may be full now, there is an opportunity to volunteer as well for those who wish to attend but do not have the means to. Many are signed up in different volunteer positions such as box office, tickets, merchandise, security and the band’s personal runners. The volunteers can get one ticket each, making the concert free.
