The NW Raiders Lacrosse team has improved greatly over the past week. They have become more aggressive and their passing and catching skills have improved. Last Saturday the Raiders took on the USD and suffered a disheartening defeat 8-5, but were determined to give it another shot on Wednesday.
The Raiders came out strong in the first half and were winning 2-1 at the end of the first quarter, but couldn’t hold on to the lead for the duration of the game and USD conquered the Raiders 5-3. The Raiders may have lost these two games, however they have never scored so many goals in one game before. Yesterday the Raiders played Creighton University and fell 11-1.
