While 2023 may have been an exciting year full of Taylor Swift tours and special movies like “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer,” even more special occurrences are to take place in the year 2024. These movies include “Mean Girls: The Musical,” “Dune: Part Two,” “Wicked: Part One” and “Inside Out 2.” Freshman Morgan Huls expressed her excitement towards the new “Inside Out.” “I want to go see Inside Out 2 because I loved the first one. Yet another exciting event is the total solar eclipse set to happen on April 8. Parts of the United States, Mexico and Canada will have a clear view of the moon passing between the Earth and
and blocking out the sun light from Earth’s view. Another freshman, JT Ulstad expressed that he was excited to see the solar eclipse because “it is just really cool and a very weird phenomenon.” He was even able to see the last eclipse in 2017 with his family, which expresses just how rare the occurrence is.
